At OncoCareLine, we know that medical needs don’t keep a 9-to-5 schedule. When you’re dealing with cancer, questions and concerns can arise at any time—late at night, on weekends, or during holidays. We’re here to provide reliable after-hours and weekend support for patients and their families.

We are a dedicated resource to support you when your primary oncology clinic is closed. We don’t replace your primary care team; we’re here to help you when you need it most. Our goal is to ensure you always have access to expert guidance and a compassionate voice, day or night.

Our After-Hours Support Services

Our specialized team is available outside of standard clinic hours to provide crucial support for various needs.

For Patients on Active Treatment

If you’re currently undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other therapies, our team can help you with urgent concerns that arise after hours. We can help you:

  • Manage side effects: Get advice on how to handle treatment-related symptoms that pop up at night or on the weekend.
  • Triage urgent issues: We can help you decide if your symptoms require an immediate trip to the emergency room or can be managed safely at home until your clinic reopens.
  • Clarify medication questions: Get quick answers about your medication schedule or side effects.

For all routine medical care, treatment planning, and follow-up appointments, please always contact your primary oncology team. We work closely with your oncologist to ensure your care is seamless.

For Patients in Surveillance or Survivorship

Even after you’ve completed active treatment, questions can still come up. Our team is a vital resource for patients who need after-hours help. We can help you:

  • Triage new symptoms: Understand if a new symptom needs immediate attention.
  • Address concerns: Get a knowledgeable response to health questions that can wait until your next follow-up with your oncologist.
  • Find peace of mind: Speak with a trusted voice who can help ease your worries during off-hours.

For Family Members and Caregivers

Cancer affects the entire family, and caregiving is a 24/7 job. If you’re a family member or caregiver, we’re here to support you outside of regular clinic hours. We can help you:

  • Understand symptoms: Get clarity on your loved one’s symptoms and know when to seek help.
  • Navigate urgent situations: Get guidance on how to best support your loved one during a health concern.
  • Access resources: Find out where to get help when you need it most.
